Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Korva Academy will refund a subscription payment and how to request one. It is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which are not affected by this Policy.
How Korva billing works
Korva charges a single recurring fee of AUD $29 per month, GST inclusive, through Stripe. There is a 7-day free trial at registration; no charge is made during the trial.
When we will refund
- 14-day cooling-off — if you subscribe and change your mind within 14 days of the first paid charge, email us at hello@korvaacademy.com.au and we will refund the most recent month in full, provided your child has practised fewer than 50 questions in that period.
- Unused time on current month — if you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, email us at hello@korvaacademy.com.au and we will refund the unused portion of the current paid month. Please give us a brief reason — it helps us improve.
- Service unavailability — if Korva is completely unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during a paid month, we will issue a pro-rata refund for the affected days.
- Australian Consumer Law guarantees — you may be entitled to a refund or replacement if the service has a major problem. We honour ACL guarantees fully.
How to request a refund
Email hello@korvaacademy.com.au with:
- The email address on your Korva account.
- The approximate date of the charge.
- A brief reason (we don't need a detailed reason).
We will respond within 5 business days. Refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method and usually appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
